How they got started: Hayley’s background in the arts is key to what makes True Life Canvas a success.
Her father is nationally acclaimed artist Stephen Shortridge, and Hayley paints as well. When she discovered she could do areola tattooing and scar camouflaging for breast cancer survivors, she decided to use her artistic ability to help others and True Life Canvas was formed.

What inspires her: “My husband, Aaron, is my biggest inspiration in business. He can somehow do the job of 10 people and see things so easily that others – including myself – take a while to figure out. He, along with our incredible staff, are the secret sauce to our success.”
